We had a great time at the fall festival where we set up a table and raffled off a gift basket from the Cracker Barrel store on 133, and a $20 gift card from Mann`s orchard ere in Methuen.
The weather cooperated and the vendors giving out free samples were there again. If you have kids, put this on your list of things to do next year.
We have two events happening. The first is this Saturday, the fall festival at greycourt, behind city hall. We are going out again this weekend to hopefully finish the clearing of brush at the depot area. Looking for a few volunteers to help out. We`ll be out early 7:30-8am, so if you have plans for the day hopefully you can swing by and help out for an hour. Bring gloves and lopers if you have them. Let me know what day works better and I will post which day we are going out. Thanks email@example.com or 978-685-3639
We are planning a day to clear the brush by the depot parking area, to make way for the new informational kiosk. Looking for a few volunteers to help out. I will follow up with a date and time. If interested please e-mail tim vermette at tim.65@Verizon.net
It should only take an hour or two and we will chip the trees to save and use as mulch, the rest will go to the city to compost.
The framework is complete for the kiosk and we will be having a day or two to help put that together, if you can`t help with the brush clearing.
Thanks and hope your enjoying the trail
